This 8 minutes piece is the result of a serie of field recording workshops sessions, commissionned by Sésame and conducted by me in 2015.
The idea was to use the Plaine Image’s concrete and metal parking lot as it was, new and still empty, as a sound source. La Plaine Image is a local “Silicon Valley”, a former industrial plant now hosting cutting-edge businesses.
The players and recorders were workers of the Plaine Image (Roubaix) and children of the Fresnoy-Mackellerie neighborhood (Tourcoing).
