Marjorie Van Halteren, originally from New York, has been living in Europe for more than twenty years now. A very interesting, lively and complete character in the field of radio and sound composition, I had the pleasure to meet her only recently ; we collaborated on one of her last podcast sessions, as I was going through the last steps of completion of the Rest Era installation and the Green Door performance. We discussed the mood of these busy last days of setting up the public exhibition Panorama 16, and taking a first look back at two years of working in the Fresnoy institution.
